Originally from the suburbs of Paris, Socrate is an artist from the graffiti movement. She stages a very contrasting universe by using the raw and immediate nature of graffiti. She sublimates the strength and fragility of images, mainly features of femininity through intimate and glamorous representations.

Socrate invites graffiti into the boudoir and thus mixes an essentially masculine discipline with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics.
